Vector Racing Team GmbH is a motorcycle racing team from Langenfeld (Rhineland) participates in motorsport competitions. Also we offer personal road racing and motocross training facilities.
In 2007 Vector Racing Team participated in the following competitions: World Superbike Championship (WSBK) (Supersport class), European Championship (Superstock 600 class) and in the IDM (Supersport class).
Our best and most perspective racer, Vladimir Ivanov, won several challenging stages of the IDM championship, including, Oschersleben (20.05.07), the famous Assen (03.06.07) and in Most (02.09.07). However, due to our attempts to take part in the WSBK, Ivanov was not able to participate in all the IDM stages. If he was not handicapped in such a way, he had a very realistic chance of securing winning positions in all the stages and the championship itself.
Our rising star Vladimir Leonov, despite being only 20 years old, has already won the 2006 motocross tournament in Russia. His first international point was earmed in the 2007 European Championship in the Superstock 600 category.
We are prepared to discuss the possibility of signing on Western European racer for the 2008 IDM on a commercial base.
Our main facilities are located in Langenfeld, Germany, and include offices, garages, warehouses, exhibition rooms and rest areas for our staff. A truck with a fully equipped trailer is able to fully fulfill all these roles when the team is on the road.
Our main sponsor is the National Insurance Group (Russia), which has provided us with stable financing from the beginning of our existence.
Vector Racing Team has always used Yamaha motorcycles, and hence our mechanics and racers have great expertise in utilizing these motorcycles to their fullest potential. We hope to further develop our technical partnership with the Yamaha Corporation as we continue competing in the WSBK and IDM.
The team’s goals for 2008 are: to participate in the IDM and win it, as well as to participate in WSBK stages in Germany. Based on our previous experiences, we believe these goals to be within reach.
As a perspective team with serious chances for victory in the 2008 IDM Championship, we offer advertising services to our partners who are interested in increasing the exposure of their products in Europe, Germany in particularly, and Russia. The team offers advertising space on the racers’ leathers, motorbikes, paddock walls, on the team truck, team uniforms as well as any other promotional material. Our racers are able to promote our sponsor’s products and services at special events, as well as in newspapers and magazines. Also, we have space on our web page to offer your perspective clients more information about your products and services. The Russian version of our site may be useful for Western companies who are seeking to gain a foothold in the increasingly lucrative Russian market. We have web pages in German and English to provide news to motorsport fans worldwide.
At present Vector Racing Team represents the zenith of Russian motorsport.
